Why does Orizn need permissions on flight booking sites?

Orizn reads destination cities, IATA codes and airport names from pages like Google Flights, Kayak and Skyscanner so it can show the right visa info next to your search. It never reads your name, payment details or search history — only the destination strings that appear in the public DOM. The full host list is declared in the extension manifest and visible in chrome://extensions.

Does Orizn work in Incognito / private browsing?

Yes, but you have to enable it manually. Open chrome://extensions, find Orizn, click 'Details' and toggle 'Allow in incognito'. Your passport setting is stored per-profile, so you may need to re-select it the first time you open an incognito window.

Can I use Orizn offline?

The popup, passport picker and previously cached visa results work offline. New lookups need an internet connection because visa rules change frequently and we always fetch the latest dataset from visa.orizn.app to make sure you never get stale info.

Is my data private? What gets sent to your servers?

Only two strings ever leave your browser: your passport country (e.g. FRA) and the destination country code (e.g. JPN). No URLs, no cookies, no flight details, no personal information. We don't log IPs alongside lookups and we don't use third-party analytics inside the extension. The popup UI is fully client-rendered.

How do I uninstall Orizn?

Right-click the Orizn icon in your toolbar and pick 'Remove from Chrome'. Or go to chrome://extensions, find Orizn and click 'Remove'. The extension cleans up its local storage on uninstall — nothing is left behind. You can come back any time from chromewebstore.google.com.
